STAFF OF REPUBLIC BANK (GHANA) PLC DONATES TO THE AUTISM AWARENESS CARE AND TRAINING CENTRE (AACT), HAATSO

Monday, 18th October 2022 – Staff of Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC, have donated food supplies, toiletries, furniture and electronics to the Autism Awareness Care and Training Center (AACT) located at Haatso in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

AACT is an organization committed to supporting individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. AACT believe that each child can use their God-given talent to reach their maximum potential, regardless of disability, which coincidentally is a view also shared by Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC.

A delegation from AACT, led by the Managing Director Mrs. Quaynor, received the items on behalf of the organization. Mrs. Quaynor further thanked the officials of the Human Resources Department of the Bank led by Mr. Tetteh Mamah for their kind gesture. She indicated that the items, which included food supplies, toiletries, furniture and electronics, had come in handy, and would be used for their intended purpose only.

Mr. Tetteh Mamah expressed the team’s commitment to AACT and assured them of continuous support.

Similar donations have been embarked upon by the Bank’s staff throughout the year to a number of institutions as part of their Staff Volunteering Program.

Notable among them are the donation by the Recoveries Department to the Potter’s Village Orphanage at Dodowa and the Juaboso Branch donation of oxygen concentrators and other medical supplies to the SDA Hospital at Sefwi Kofikrom.
