Accra, Monday, 16th October 2023 – Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC, a leading financial institution renowned for its commitment to employee well-being and teamwork, has successfully held its Staff Fun Games event, setting the stage for an energized year-end performance.
The action-packed event took place on Saturday, 7th October 2023 at the Ghana Armed Forces Sports Complex, Burma Camp, Accra. It drew the enthusiastic participation of staff members across all 38 branches nationwide and departments. They competed in teams made up of the Bank’s Core Values of Integrity, Customer Focus, Professionalism, Respect for the Individual and Results Orientation. Designed to foster unity, teamwork, and rejuvenation. The Fun Games provided an exciting platform for the staff to come together, bond and reinvigorate their energy towards the end of the financial year.
Speaking at the event, Benjamin Dzoboku, Managing Director of the Bank, lauded the staff for their belief in the Bank’s Core Values as well as their exceptional dedication and sportsmanship throughout the games. “Our Core Values have always been the guiding light that leads us to success. They are the pillars upon which we have built a legacy of trust, excellence, and solid commitment to our customers and each other making us achieve a score of 99.5% on Customer Satisfaction in the 2022 Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Customer Satisfaction Index. I must say, witnessing these values in action during our Fun Games was nothing short of inspiring” stated Mr. Dzoboku.

The Managing Director, Mr. Benjamin Dzoboku won the Executive Penalty Shoot-Out whilst Team Professionalism emerged as the overall winner of the s games played. Team Integrity and Respect for the Individual took the first runner-up and second runner-up positions respectively. The Individuals and Teams who won received Investment Gift Vouchers from Republic Investments (Ghana) LTD, a subsidiary of the Bank, as well as trophies, medals and participation certificates.
